JACK AND JILL FOTO FOLIO

Hello bloggers! I just recently finished an album which is a custom order I got from my instagram account. It is from Ms. Elizabeth Sinor from California who is a friend of Ms. Penny who bought my Travel Folio. She loved the album so she asked me if I can make a folio album for her as well. She wanted an album where she can place photos of her grandchildren, and specify that she wanted a part where she can place photos for the girls only, a part for the boys and a place where she can place both boys and girls and maybe photos of her with her grandchildren. And after she told me that, I already had a perfect style of folio in mind which will cater to her need. So I chose the design by Kathy Orta King of Paper Phenomenon from Foto Folios 2 Series Tutorial Style#1.

I looked for paper collection online that I can use for this album and found these...

I used Jack and Jill Paper Collection and Capture Life Paper Collection, both by Echo park. The papers are really pretty!

The album measures 9x11" with a generous spine of 2 1/2". Used kraf-tex for the spine and closure. On the cover, I used papers from the Capture Life paper collection. There is a pocket envelope on the front and has a large tag inside. On the bottom side, I added a black cardstock that I punched with my EK Success Binding Edge punch on both sides and only adhere the bottom and place two inserts from the capture life paper collection, a 2x2 cut apart and a sticker of a camera that I backed with white cardstock and just fussy cut and inked the edges. I also added two stickers of small hearts and layered them.

This album has flaps, flip-outs, pockets, pages, pocket envelopes, closures, cascading photo mats and stacked pockets. This is what the inside looks like. On the left side photos is the girl part and the right side photos is for the boy part.

And the next pictures will be the part where she can place both or place photos of her with her grandchildren

On the right side of the album, there are swing envelopes that has a flap which can also hold photos and inserted in a belly band. Here she can place more photos or if her grandchildren gave her art works, cards or letters, she can placed them inside as well.

And at the bottom there are cascading photomats! In here she can place landscape and portrait photos!

And the back looks like this...

So that's my Jack and Jill Foto Folio album! I really like the way it turned out. I love, love, love it! I just hope she'll like the album and I hope you do too!
